About Mallen Web

mallen web IT consultantMallen Web is lead by Michael Shearin, an IT consultant from Southern California who enjoys working with small businesses, new start-ups and nonprofit organizations. As a natural problem solver with an affinity for computer technology, Michael offers IT consultation services to help people, businesses and projects that we believe in.

Michael is an experienced computer repair technician with over 17 years experience and thousands of hours repairing sick desktops and laptops. He developed his first web page in 1998 by utilizing a loop-hole in 1990’s Webtv systems. He then learned how to script early IRC chat-bots as a hobby and this lead to a love for computer languages. Nowadays, Michael enjoys Object-Oriented programming languages.

In his spare time he’s an Indie Game Developer working on a soon-to-be-released hobby-project and when not coding, designing, engaged in social media, or repairing machines, he’s staying up to date with the latest technology trends. Some hobbies include flying quad-copters, auto mechanics, soldering and woodworking.

The Job Ahead

We love technology and we’ve used it to improve our own lives. Our goal is to help you to use it to your advantage, as well. However, many simply don’t understand the technology behind the modern web. Our job is therefore not only to provide such services, but to help develop an understanding about how and why you should be using them.

Mallen Web may be a small company, but with limited over-head we can provide a better value, and a truly dedicated staff. We are out-of-the-box thinkers and doers.
